Saw Operator

Job Description

The Saw Operator is responsible for the hands on field supervision of paving projects with extensive knowledge of concrete paving operation and equipment. They are responsible for:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in safe and efficient operation and maintenance of 65 HP concrete saw for major Highway/Airport paving
  • Excellent understanding of fresh concrete and effects of curing concrete under various conditions
  • Capable of cutting fresh/hardened concrete straight and true
  • Class B License or above with clean driving record

We require that they be committed to the total Ajax team effort by contributing to the proper completion of the work.

We are looking for an individual who can work quickly in a fast-paced environment, work in a team, exhibit honesty and trustworthiness, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

This individual must possess strong mathematic skills, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma/GED.
